Hi :) All my content is pictured from inside the game not CAS. I use the in game camera to get close to a sim and then the program Fraps to take the image. Fraps is quite high quality and there is a free version available. The in game camera can be started by clicking on your tab button, and you get out of the camera mode by clicking tab again.
